Granite Edvance’s 2024 Annual Impact Report tells the story of a memorable year
Concord, NH – Granite Edvance, a New Hampshire nonprofit that supports students and families in navigating their education and career pathways, is pleased to present its 2024 Annual Impact Report. Featuring stories and photos from a memorable year in which Granite Edvance formed new partnerships, awarded a record amount of scholarship funds, and stepped up to help families during a tumultuous year in financial aid, the publication demonstrates the many tangible ways the organization is living out its mission.
“This report is an important step in sharing our vision and the work we care about so much,” said Granite Edvance President and CEO Christiana Thornton. “In 2024, that vision truly came to life as we built and enriched community connections and increased our impact in exciting ways.”
While shining a light on Granite Edvance’s work, the 16-page, full-color report also provides important insights on the higher education landscape and student- and workforce needs in the state. It highlights:

- How the Granite Edvance Scholarship is helping students achieve their goals and address the rising costs of education
- How a new student aid fund is helping community college students with non-academic needs and why such aid is critical
- Why FAFSA completion numbers plummeted in 2024 and how Granite Edvance helped close the completion gap
- What Granite Edvance and partner organizations are doing to address workforce challenges such as the healthcare worker shortage
- Why in-school support with college applications is valuable, particularly for first-generation students, and how Granite Edvance is providing that support
“As we embark on another year of helping students plan and pay for their postsecondary journeys, we’re energized by the accomplishments of 2024 and grateful to all those who joined us in this work,” Thornton said. “We also hope that by sharing these stories, we can continue to increase our impact in the year ahead.”
