It’s never too early to start planning for a college education. During this presentation, we share strategies for academically preparing for college, helpful tips on researching colleges and majors, and a preview of the financial aid process. There’s over 4,000 colleges and universities in the country, so visiting them all is nearly impossible. That’s where college fairs come in. Going to a college fair can be a way to learn about a lot of colleges at one time. Join us during this webinar to learn more about what questions to ask college reps, how to show up prepared, and how to make the most of the time spent there! 

Selecting colleges and applying for admission can be overwhelming. There are applications to be completed, deadlines to meet, essays to write, and policies to understand. This session is intended to educate the student and family about the college admission process and is appropriate for high school juniors and parents, but all high school freshmen, sophomores, and juniors are welcome to attend. Topics include: narrowing your list, questions to ask on a college tour, college essay pointers, the application timeline, and the basics of financial aid.
