Granite Edvance Destination College Prize Drawing
At the Destination College Fair, Granite Edvance will select five (5) NH high school junior “Students” at random to each receive either, one of three Apple MacBook Air laptop computers or one of two iPad Pros. These Students must be present at Destination College Fair to claim their prize and provide proof of identification.
This drawing is being sponsored by Granite Edvance located at 3 Barrell Court, Concord NH 03301.
NO OBLIGATION. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. AN EXISTING RELATIONSHIP WITH GRANITE EDVANCE DOES NOT INCREASE THE CHANCE OF WINNING. This Promotion and its terms are void where prohibited by Federal or State law.
Eligibility: Any NH high school junior who is registered and is in attendance at the Destination College Fair Event (“Event”) on Saturday April 5, 2025 at Southern New Hampshire University, Manchester, NH will be entered into the drawing. Students must be present during the drawing to claim their prize. Only one entry allowed per Student.
The following individuals are NOT eligible to participate:
- Family members and any persons living in the same household of an employee or trustee of Granite Edvance.
How to Enter: NH high school juniors who are registered for the Event will be automatically entered as a result of the Event check in. Students may register for the Event at https://graniteedvance.org/find-your-direction/upcoming-events/destination-college/ from January 21, 2025 to 11:59:59 PM EST on April 4, 2025, or until the event is fully subscribed, whichever comes first. Registrations will be accepted in person on the day of the event if space permits. Students may check in to the Event from 8:30 AM EST to 12:00 PM EST on Saturday April 5.
The sponsor is not responsible for, and will void, incomplete, lost, misdirected, or otherwise faulty entries, regardless of the cause. The sponsor also reserves the right to disqualify entries at its sole discretion if it is believed that the entry was received as the result of unfair, deceptive or harmful practices.
The Prize: During the College Fair portion of the Event, there will be separate drawings for each of the 5 individual prizes. These items will be previously purchased by Granite Edvance. Apple Inc. Is not a sponsor, nor are they involved in the Event in any manner.
Odds of Winning: Odds of winning are dependent on the number of eligible entries.
Winning: Winners will be drawn at random from all eligible entries and the drawings will begin at or around 1:45 PM, during the second half of college fair portion of the Event. Students must be present when their name is called to win. If the Student does not come forward after the name is announced, they forfeit the prize and another name will then be drawn in their place. Winners may not choose an alternate prize and the prize may not be transferred.
Except where prohibited by law, winners shall agree that Granite Edvance may use their name, likeness, general biographical information and statements for publicity purposes without compensation or limitation in connection with the giveaway. Each winner will be responsible for any tax implications that come as a result of winning.
Delivery of Prize: Winners will receive their prize at the Event as directed by the Sponsor during the drawing. The Winner may be asked for photo identification. For prizes $600 or more in value, winner’s social security number or taxpayer identification number may be required in order for Granite Edvance to issue an IRS Form 1099.
Privacy: The information provided to the Sponsor will be used to communicate with entrants, unless the participant has opted out, as set forth in these Official Rules, the Sponsor may contact participants at a later date with respect to products or financial tips which the Sponsor believes may be of interest to them. By entering the drawing, all Students acknowledge and agree that the personal information that they have provided will be maintained by the sponsor in accordance with the sponsor’s Privacy Policy.
Consent Release: Each Winner’s acceptance of an award constitutes permission (except where prohibited) for the Sponsor to use the Winner’s name, photograph, video, likeness, statements, biographical information, voice and address (city and state) for any and all public relations, advertising and/or promotional purposes as determined by Sponsor, in all forms of media and by all manners (now and hereafter known), without notice, consent, review, approval or further compensation. Acceptance of an award also constitutes the Winner’s permission for the Sponsor to share the Winner’s name and mailing address with other entities for recognition purposes.
Disputes/Governing Law: The substantive laws of the State of New Hampshire, United States apply to and govern this drawing and any claims must be raised and resolved in the Federal or state courts located in Merrimack County, New Hampshire.
In alignment with the Right to Modify section below, the Sponsor reserves the right to modify these rules based on any disputes raised regarding unforeseen issues that the Sponsor deems appropriate in an effort to promote fairness.
Limitation on Liability: By agreeing to the rules herein, the participant agrees to indemnify the sponsor, its affiliates, subsidiaries or agents as well as its employees, directors and officers for any cost, loss or damage of any kind resulting from his or her participation in this promotion.
Right to Modify, Suspend or Terminate: The sponsor reserves the right to modify, suspend or terminate this scholarship promotion at any time, at its sole discretion.
