Find Your Direction
I'm figuring out what comes next
Plenty of students (and a lot of adults!) don’t know what they want to be when they grow up. That’s perfectly okay! The important thing is that you’re thinking about it. We’re here to help you find your way.
Uncover your interests
Figuring out what you’re interested in – and what you’re good at – is your first step. Then you can learn about related career options and find out what education and training you’ll need. Discover how to dig into your interests and chart your course.
I'm exploring my options
There are many paths that don’t include four-year college. An apprenticeship, vocational training, enlisting in the military, going straight to work, or planning a gap year are just a few options.
Consider other pathways
Whatever your destination looks like, we’ll help you get there. Internships, apprenticeships, and vocational programs are just a few ways to get the experience and education you may need. Learn more and find out if an alternative to college is right for you.
I'm thinking about college
College can open many doors. Colleges and universities can provide you with specialized knowledge and training and broaden your mind and worldview. It can improve your future career prospects and financial security, and much more. But there’s a lot to think about, and we can help.
Understand the college process
There are many types of colleges, programs, degrees, and ways to attend school. You might even be able to earn college credits while you’re still in high school. Learn about the options and consider which might work best for you.
I might go back to school
If you’ve started college before, you probably already know a lot about the process. But returning after a break can be challenging. Is it worth it? Will your old credits count? Should you go back to the same school or try a new one? We’ll help you navigate the process.
Return to school
Sometimes it’s necessary to take a break from school. There’s a lot to think about when you’re ready to resume. Find out more about things to consider and steps to take.
