Granite Edvance’s spring term scholarship for two-year and trade-school students now open

October 6, 2026

Concord, NH –  The Granite Edvance spring term scholarship is now open, offering scholarships of $1,000 to $1,500 each for students in two-year and trade-school programs. Eligible students are invited to apply through November 18. Scholarships will be awarded in late December.

“Scholarships are a wonderful tool to help pay for education and training. What makes our two-year and trade-school scholarships especially exciting is that they can truly close the financial gap for many students as they take that first step toward a professional goal or stay committed to the path they chose,” said Christiana Thornton, President and CEO of Granite Edvance, a statewide nonprofit that helps students plan and pay for college and careers. “There are many affordable options for students to pursue a degree or credential here in New Hampshire, including our community college system, which offers a wide array of programs to choose from.”

The scholarships will provide up to $1,500 for NH students enrolled in two-year associate-degree programs and up to $1,000 for NH students enrolled in Title IV-eligible trade schools for the upcoming spring term. To support students in accessing funds throughout the year, these two-year and trade-school scholarships are now offered three times a year.

“I am incredibly grateful to receive the Granite Edvance Scholarship,” said Gabriella Millard, a recent scholarship recipient and student at Manchester Community College. “This support helps me continue pursuing my education and my goal of building a career in healthcare while creating a better future for myself and my family!”

Granite Edvance has awarded $1 million in scholarships over the past year and more than $2.5 million in scholarships since 2023. The next round of scholarships for two-year and trade school students will open in January and close in early April.
