Program will increase exposure, access to planning services and funding options for NH students
Concord, NH – As part of an ongoing effort to expand access to its services and resources, Granite Edvance has partnered with 10 financial institutions throughout the state. The statewide nonprofit now serves as a trusted higher-education planning and funding partner to First Seacoast Bank, Meredith Village Savings Bank, Merrimack County Savings Bank, New Hampshire Postal Credit Union, Northeast Credit Union, Piscataqua Savings Bank, Profile Bank, Savings Bank of Walpole, St. Mary’s Bank, and Sugar River Bank.
“We believe community partnerships are key to our mission of helping students of all ages and backgrounds plan and pay for their futures,” said John Flanders, Granite Edvance’s chief strategy officer. “We’re very excited to provide these partner institutions with free resources that can be shared with their customers.”
Through the partnerships, Granite Edvance will offer valuable information on topics related to college-and-career planning and financial aid to support students in navigating their postsecondary journeys. These resources can help their customers make fully informed decisions about paying for college or career training and take advantage of all of their options. Customers of those institutions who need a private student loan to supplement other forms of aid will be able to access the Granite Edvance Student Loan*, which offers competitive rates and multiple repayment options for NH students.
“Along with helping students fund their life goals, our loan program supports initiatives such as our annual scholarship,” Flanders said. “We’re pleased to make this program more visible in our local communities and will be working closely with our partners to support students and families with all of their college and career planning needs. We are also actively seeking new partnership opportunities with financial institutions in order to continue increasing our impact.”
*The Granite Edvance Student Loan, as well as the EdvestinU Private Student Loan and the EdvestinU Refinance Loan, are loan products offered by Granite Edvance Corporation and may be funded by Granite Edvance Corporation or Bank of Lake Mills, member FDIC.
